Milton Hersey was walked out onto his balcony to view the construction of Hersey, PA with the new heavy equipment of the day "Tractors".
The forman said smiling, "Just look at that Mr. Hersey, these machines can do the work of fourty men." He beamed at the progress that was being achieved.
Mr. Hersey nodded his head smiled back at the Forman. He did admire the work and the quick pace that was before him. He turned to his forman and simply stated, "Good, good. Send them back and hire 40 men."
