Coins, Treasure and……. Camo?

This week on Our History Project’s “In the dirt with American Digger” segment we continue with our quest for the beginners in the hobby of Metal Detecting, letting you know how to find money, jewelry and coins. For the seasoned vets we talk about some great finds and how to keep it, as well as some inside jokes.

For those of you who are “just not right” like us we learn how to dress for all types of hunting and a whole lot of other stuff. Stop by and join us or download us and take us with you. We’ll hopefully put a smile on your face at least once and we also let you in on our secret of why we started this crazy segment in the first place and why we keep coming back every week.

This Saturday join us a Cassie interviews Mrs. Betty Vandiver, the former first lady of Georgia as she and Gov. Vandiver tackled the issues of family, race, hospitals, traffic and more. For those of you who always wanted to eavesdrop in on two southern ladies’ conversation- this is a don’t miss. I loved it. And, while listening truly listen to hear how Mrs. Vandiver talks about Georgia and you’ll get just a glimpse of the passion and love about our state.

Also, join us if you are going to be in the Atlanta area on Aug. 8 & 9, 2009. We will be doing a show from the Cobb Civic Center. Butch, Charlie and a whole cast of characters will be on hand and you can be a part of the show. That’s right, we’ll have a mic set up for you, and prizes to give away. So bring your ideas for future shows and membership money that’s - $25 - to join and become a member of Our History Project and help promote and support the preservation of our history. I can promise you every dollar will go back into this project and it is tax deductable.
